Thieves attack women at spa in Chennai, escape with valuables

CHENNAI: Four masked thieves attacked two employees and two customers at a spa in Koyambedu here and escaped with Rs 20, 000, a laptop and four cellphones on Wednesday night.
The employees and customers were all women. While two thieves held the four women at knifepoint, two others collected money and valuables from them and the spa.
They locked the spa from outside and escaped, leaving the women inside.The employees alerted the spa owner over phone. The owner came to the spot and rescued all of them.
Police collected CCTV footage from the spa and were investigating.
